THE WINSTON CENTER FOR LEARNING (WCL) SPEAKER SERIES, COURSE OFFERINGS & EVENTS:
The Winston Center for Learning (WCL) offers a series of speakers, workshops, presentations, and other resources for Winston School parents and the wider community to support knowledge and growth in education and learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD.
Winston's Speaker Series aspires to engage speakers that invigorate, interest and support our school community and beyond with pertinent topics in education and special education. The creation of meaningful conversations and connections is an important facet of this program.
Registration is now open for SCREENAGERS: Elementary School Edition
The Winston School is excited to invite parents, friends, and community members to join us for an engaging event in our Speaker Series. Screenagers: Elementary School Edition is a documentary that explores the challenges of managing screen time and its impact on children. Moderated by Mrs. Reshma Patel, LCSW, Mrs. Lauren Systo (school counselor), and Mrs. Andrea Dawson (current Winston parent), this event will offer valuable insights, advice, and discussion for navigating technology use in the digital age.
This screening and event are appropriate for students in grades 3, 4, and 5. Please register using the form below to let us know if you and your child(ren) will be attending. We look forward to seeing you there!
Refreshments will be served. Please register below.
