SPEAKER SERIES, COURSE OFFERINGS & EVENTS:

The Winston Center for Learning (WCL) offers a series of speakers, workshops, presentations, and other resources for Winston School parents and the wider community to support knowledge and growth in education and learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD.

Winston's Speaker Series aspires to engage speakers that invigorate, interest and support our school community and beyond with pertinent topics in education and special education. The creation of meaningful conversations and connections is an important facet of this program. 

Winston’s Speaker Series was established in 2012 and has engaged a wide variety of professionals including Michael Thompson Ph. D., Dr. Edward Hallowell, Henry Winkler, Rudy Ruettiger, Sally E. Shaywitz, M.D and Bennett A. Shaywitz, M.D, Arnold Gold, M.D., Dr. Jerome Schultz, and Dana Buchman. Winston is excited to continue this treasured and acclaimed component of our programming.

ADHD & EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING: Managing Impact on Learning, Motivation, and Behavior
ONLINE ZOOM COURSE


The Winston Center for Learning is excited to offer a six session course to support parents, educators, and other professionals in addressing the impact ADHD & Executive Functioning have on learning, motivation, behavior, and the family system. Our presenters are trained and certified through PTS coaching with Cindy Goldrich, Ed.M., ADHD-CCSP. Course starts February 4, 2025
Earn nine professional development hours and gain insights, tools, and strategies to support individuals with ADHD and Executive Functioning challenges. This course is offered via Zoom. You are encouraged to have your video camera on to maximize involvement. Sessions will be recorded for later review.
