Head of The Winston School

Pamela R. Bloom Ed.M., was appointed Head of School by the Board of Trustees in June, 1992. An educator for more than 34 years, Mrs. Bloom holds a Master’s degree in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University. Among her many achievements, Mrs. Bloom was selected as a Klingenstein Visiting Fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University, and has served as the President of the Board of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. Her professional associations include the International Reading Association, International Dyslexia Association and the New Jersey Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. She has also served on the Board of Trustees at Kent Place School and the Stevens Cooperative School.
Mrs. Bloom brings a strong sense of commitment and professionalism, along with leadership and warmth, to direct and guide children toward educational discovery and personal growth.
