Beyond Winston
Winston invests time, effort and love into the growth and self-confidence of each student. Winston's goal is to ensure the continued academic and social success of its students, as they meet new challenges after Winston.
"Life After Winston" is a program which guides and supports students and parents as they seek the best middle or high school placement. This counseling service is provided for families during the year prior to the anticipated change. Whether a student is returning to a public school, matriculating at another independent school, or applying to a boarding school, Winston plays a key role in the search process. The process is a joint one, between the school and the family.
The Winston School has well-established relationships with the independent schools in New Jersey, and has worked in cooperation with public school districts to design programs for our returning students. Many students have moved on to other independent schools such as The Morristown-Beard School, Union Catholic, Purnell School, Academy of St. Elizabeth's, Gill St. Bernard's School, Kent Place School, Seton Hall Prep, and West Nottingham Academy in Maryland.
